The “Business Casual” Style for Men

It is relatively common to find in many fashion publications and in the business world the expression “business casual”. It is even possible to see it written on some invitations.

What is the “casual business” style?

We can say that it is an informal style that is formed from the base of the classic suit and tie. There are companies that choose to “relax” this type of more formal wardrobe to take away a “certain seriousness”, resulting in a somewhat less formal and more comfortable, without losing a bit of elegance.

To begin with, this outfit is dressed without a tie.

The pants that you wear are usually straight with or without a pincer, depending on what else you wear at that moment. A dark color for the cold seasons -game of grays, blacks, etc.- and lighter colors for the good weather -cres, earth, beiges, etc.-.

The jacket, straight, with two or three buttons. Of dark colors for the winter-autumn; lighter color for spring or summer. Same as the pants in terms of colors.

The shirt, long sleeve, wide neck-Italian type-, better without buttons. The short-sleeved shirts do not look good with an American jacket. These shirts do not have to combine with a tie offer a wide range of possibilities between which to choose some type of drawing or stamping a bit more daring than for a more formal shirt.

The socks match the shoes and combined with the rest of the wardrobe. You can choose the combination -collect colors- or by contrast, choose a striking color that contrasts with the rest of the wardrobe.

The shoes of classic cut, closed and with little heel. They can be either lanyards or clasp buckle or similar. Color, better dark, unless you wear very light or summer colors. Then it is possible to choose some less dark color.

Within the “casual” chosen clothing, there may be some small variations depending on whether we use it to go to work in an office or to attend an event more social than work. For an office job at agency that does posicionamiento SEO en Mexico, you may have to try to be a bit more conservative / classic, without getting to wear a formal wardrobe; if we move on a somewhat more social plane – outside the office – the costumes can be a little more daring – we should not go too -, for example, wearing slightly more striking colors -burdeos, aubergines, etc.-, changing the shirt by a polo or shirt, etc. However, this wardrobe would also be valid to go to work.
